In the tradition set forth by Zeta’s Five Pearls, another group of women recognized the need for an enthusiastic, civic minded graduate chapter in Greenville, North Carolina.  These women set out to carry forth the light of Zeta and to form the Rho Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

Rho Zeta Zeta was chartered on March 4, 1999. The host chapter was the Zeta Chi Zeta in Goldsboro and was acknowledged by the then Eastern Region Director, Soror Eloise Melvin and the state director, Soror Juanita Penn.
